Pongthipok Sootthipong aka. Tete Saxman is a jazz enthusiast and saxophonist who has passion towards music. Having come from Thailand, Tete embraces the South East Asian Culture and have been living in Singapore for ten years. Tete is a graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts. Tete is a part of the LASALLE JAZZ BAND which competed in the Thailand Jazz Competition 2019. Through the years, Tete has played with the Jazz Association of Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) and Jazz Association of Singapore Youth Orchestra (JazzYo!) led by Jeremy Monteiro and is a JASS associate member. Tete studied under Greg Lyons and has been in the Greg Lyon's Grooveworks mentorship program. Having completed the Mosaic Jazz Fellow 2018 and has performed at the Esplanade for Jazz in July 2018 and All Things New in January 2019, Tete is taking active part as a performer in the Singapore Jazz Scene. Tete is an active intern at WE LOVE JAZZ SG. Tete founded his jazz group called Tete & Friends, who has performed at LASALLE College of the Arts and Esplanade Concourse.
