Pongthipok Sootthipong, nicknamed Tete is a jazz enthusiast and saxophonist who has passion for music. Tete graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore under the mentorship of Greg Lyons. During his time practicing music in Singapore, Tete has performed with the Jazz Association of Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) led by Jeremy Monteiro. Furthermore, Tete has performed with many talented local jazz musicians including Christy Smith, Andrew Lim and Aya Sekine. Tete has been active in the Bangkok music scene since August 2020, having formed ‘PROJECT B4NGKOK & JAZZ’, a musical group dedicated to pushing their musical plateau to a higher level. PROJECT B4NGKOK & JAZZ has performed at Bluebird Jazz Bar, The Commons and The Yard. The group aims to build greater jazz awareness in Bangkok’s music community. Tete is currently pursuing a master's degree in music therapy at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
